Tweet helps Uplisting secure $300,000 in funding


United States: The all-in-one property management system Uplisting, designed to help growing short-term rental businesses streamline their operations, announced that it has secured investment from the funding ecosystem, community and mentorship, Calm Company Fund.

Uplisting, an Airbnb Preferred Partner, is a SaaS platform specifically designed for growing short-term rental businesses. Until now, Uplisting has been self-funded, operating primarily on organic growth.

“Once we opened our AngelList round, I DMed him thinking he might be interested in investing $20,000 or $30,000 in Uplisting. He took a look at our pitch deck and said he was interested, but only if he could invest more than $250,000. It only took eight days from my initial tweet to signing the deal,” he added.

Over 20% of Uplisting members have pledged to invest between $1,000 and $50,000 in Uplisting through a SAFE [Simple Agreement for Future Equity] model. The company has the ambition to grow member investment as the company matures, with each member having the opportunity to invest on an ongoing basis.
