Cary Richardson, vice president of business operations for Miles Construction of Carson City, has been appointed for a second term on the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) Facility Design Committee.

The committee is focused on providing NCIA members with guidelines and a framework for creating design options for legal cannabis producers as the market continues to shift from a state to a regulated industry. federal government, according to a September 17 press release.

NCIA is a national organization representing nearly 2,000 companies and tens of thousands of cannabis professionals.
Members provide information to advance the industry and the NCIA, aiding the decision-making process at the highest level and helping to execute the association’s goals and mission. Committee members have a one-year term. Richardson was originally appointed to the committee in December 2020.
