Work on these three projects began in fall 2021. Charah Solutions will complete basin excavation work at each site with services including site clean-up, construction of haul roads, ash stabilization, ash excavation and ash removal in existing landfill cells.

The scope of the first project includes the excavation and disposal of coal combustion residues (CCR) from an old ash pond and delivery of the CCRs to another existing ash pond for processing. The scope of work for the second project includes the construction of a haul road between two existing ash ponds, clearing work in a pond, and the establishment of a border ditch and sump to begin excavation. and transportation of ashes.
